December 31, 201114 yr I got an email from PMDG yesterday with a special offer on the 737-600/700 series. Neat. It also contained links to download the lastest update for the 737 as well. Pretty nice. Sometimes, I don't have time to read the forum and follow developments, so that's something I hope they do all the time from here on in.But the end of the email caught my eye. Robert Randazzo said he looked forward seeing us (all of us) in transition training for the PMDG B777.And he said nothing else.I LOVE it!I'm having fun flying the 737 but the 777 is coming! What a way to end a year and start another one. With excitement!P.S. Please don't turn this into a when is the 777 coming thread. Good mystery writers know how to hook their audience and Robert Randazzo just hooked me! Kirk Mayers
December 31, 201114 yr Yup. Personalized with last name. ("Captain <XXX>")Looked pretty professional to me. I liked that they had several product updates in the communicaton. The message I received was, "Hey! We want you to have the best NGX experience possible." As compared to MMO companies where the message tends to be "Buy more stuff whether you need it or not. We'll even make it easy for you to charge your credit card for the stuff you don't need."Very nice communication IMO. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
January 2, 201214 yr Pretty classy? They only announced everything that has already been released. The thought was good tho!
January 3, 201214 yr I almost fainted when I read, looking forward to your transition training for the 777! :( FSXDante Nicotera Delta Virtual Airlines: First Officer 737-800 Program
January 4, 201214 yr I never received an email, but then I have only purchased the Jetstream 4100. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
January 4, 201214 yr I got the email (I think). I did recieve one telling me about hte 600/700, and mentioning the SP1b. I check the forums a lot, but only have recently gotten back to flying as of Saturday. I downloaded the 600/700 and SP1b, and some BBJ repaints and got to business. I did miss the part of the email though that mentioned the B777 transitional training... I do like the emails though. It is nice that they are trying keep all their customers in the loop. Even those who do not visit the forums. Look forward to getting back in to the loop, and seeing what 2012 has to bring.
