January 5, 201214 yr I stand corrected. :) I didn't know about that 757 to JFK in the early 90's.No probs :( ,the a/c would then shuttle from JFK to YYZ and back, but the narrow body was unpopular across the atlantic and the service was abandoned after a couple of years.regards Jim
January 5, 201214 yr I know at one point there was talk of a runway extension at London City. Not sure what came of that. Probably not a lot! I know they are also talking about extending the ramp area as well - I am sure that was going ahead and ,in fact, may already have gone ahead.It is a very convenient little airport for Londoners - a friend of mine lives about 15 minutes walk from there and uses it as often as possible when traveling to Germany or France.
