Attention PMDG - new feature request for the NGX, based on flight

Featured Replies

Just thinking it would be easy in the next service pack to add some more consumer-friendly features. Imagine...you're planning a Cat 3 approach, peering through the HUGS...and then...'100 points - landing gear down'. Awesome! If you remember the autobrakes that's got to be worth at least 200 points.See the pic for some ideas on other things that could get a score (like landing on the runway, 0 points in this example but still not a bad score overall).

I'll second that only if we can hit balloons and collecting coins as well :(

I dont care about points but a detailed flight report would be nice. FsPassengers does this somewhat.

Wow. Something tells me the OP is serious. Arcade features (like scoring and background music influenced by flight events) will be right at home in MS Flight. I'm beginning to wonder if Microsoft will be releasing Flight on the X-Box 360. Or, as a table game like the old Pac Man tables in bars.I actually used to believe that disbanding Aces would pave the way for serious efforts at MS. Not so sure anymore.

Gimme a "1000 "points and I'll hijack the controllers with a 747

As you might have figured out by now Flight is more of an Arcade game than it is a Simulation. What? Wow? You guys didn't know this already? Told ya this months ago.

+1I guess I let my imagination get the best of me. I saw the most recent screenshots, and the scenery looks like it was taken from an episode of Rug Rats. Maybe that's the target age group: 3 to 5 year olds. That would explain a lot.

Those coins being Hawaiian Quarters :(
