LAX III...Foggy or Wet?

Featured Replies

Foggy or Wet? Your choice! For the uninformed (another LAX poster) all aircraft usually/normaly take-off and land to the west except for stormy days and overnight when they depart/arrive to the east. Here is an example from late last year, a cold front from the north made an early entrance this season.Foggy Days...

he must have mistaken the 737 with a 707 if you look at his angle of attack ^_^excellent shots bro, your shots are really crisp and clear, I assume you're using a high AA rate?

"Those who enter the field for the sole purpose of impressing others with their aeronautical knowledge can never be true aviators."

It depends on the pilot, load, airline policy, etc.....I've seen some pilots take 3/4 of the runway length and others pull in the gear and takeoff immediately....and all with the NG. blum.gifAnd yes Darth, I use medium high AA with nvidia Inspector and get 10-15fps around major airports and 30fps in the wild-blue....more frames coming with my new system rebuild coming later in the month.

Nice ones. What type of rig are you using now that makes you consider a new build?

Who? Haven't seen any other LAX pics lately beside yours. BTW, where is part II?

1-2 year old Q9550....the video-card, hard-drives and case will remain....just an upgrade of the processor, memory & of course the motherboard.Lost in the shuffle, I try to stagger my posts so they are not identical at all the sites.

Wow, you've a slower rig than I. I thought you have one of these 5+ GHz machines. I'm really astonished how good your frames are at SFO. I got single digits down at KDEN in the NGX. I wonder how SFO behaves in terms of performance.

Beautiful! Just my style of shots - great representation of one of my current favorites!

High single digits in the cockpit view, 10-15fps outside at LAX. Denver probably worse since it's a Cal work (Imagine-Sim). My system used to be faster when it was OC'ed, optimized and before the hard-drive OS failure.

Quite good for the old lady.

Well, I don't have an addon for Denver. In fact I don't have any payware scenery add-on then PNW in FSX. Denver was just the default scenery with a little ADE upgrade and lots of Ai.

Well Nebojsa now says '' Nice'' and then adds his name. So in my mind that is an improvement of 100%.
