January 23, 201214 yr I know this has been mentioned a few times but nothing recent and I am not sure as to what the current situation is. Is there a plan to upgrade the pushback which I believe is just the (a bit rubbish) default FSX with something with the quality we love from PMDG?Thanks, Will Wilson
January 25, 201214 yr What more do you want? It will push you back left and right up to 90 degrees and as far or as little as you want. It's the same as the MD-11 and 747-400. Edited January 25, 201214 yr by UAL115 Paul Deemer
January 25, 201214 yr What more do you want?in general I'm also happy with the current pushback.Only the turning radius is a bit too big, I think. But before release, there was mentioned from a dev that with a SP the pushback will be improved (to a new system?).Maybe that is, what Will is refering for? January 25, 201214 yr Push back is not accurate. It turns nose left and right winch is good but that's about it. Turns are wider than normal and push distance is wrong. If you enter push distance 50 feet it will push you about 200 or so. If overall airplane length 129 ft (800 bird) and you want to be pushed just same distance to be off the gate, you will be push about 2-3 length of fuselage. Sometimes it pushes too far back and I cannot stop it, it is just pushing with no stopping. It drove air controller nuts, I had to terminate the flight. Yesterday I was pushed ahead :( not back, so it was actually towing, not pushing with all engines off. I have been messing with push buck since PMDG has been released and this issue still persist. Many people complain about this and we were told that would be fixed. Looks like still not fixed. January 26, 201214 yr Hi Kyle. Units are in feet. I played with both to check, it did not work in anyway. :( I9-13900K | ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming LGA 1700 | MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 24GB | CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid Cooler | CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 64GB (2X36) 5200MHx DDR5 | Thermaltake GF3 1650W 80+ Gold PSU | Samsung QN90C Neo QLED TV 50”
