Level d 767 cargo doors

Recommended Posts

Hi Julian

I am not to sure about that one as I have never really been into awards as such, but it is an extremely nice comment and one that is appreciated, possibly more so than any award so thank you very much.

Take care, and have fun.

Just to go off at a tangent, if i may please,as I'm seeking some help here for a friend who has the baffling problem explained in another post about his horizontal panning view in VC being messed when he uses Ctrl+E to start the engines.!

This seemed to start after he installed the Level D airplane. I noticed above that the cargo door button is SHFT + E?

Could it be that there is a Level D command that is activated when he starts the engines in another plane in FSX?

I know nothing of Level D planes and we are clutching at straws here to find why the view is porked.

Any comments please?

TIA

Hi

Firstly my apologies for the delay in replying it was just one of those days yesterday when thing got busy for no apparent reason, sorry about that. As for the gauge, not a problem, and as you probably know by now I have sent you a PM with the download link for the files and installation instructions.

As always, although you shouldn’t have any problems, but if you should then just let me know and I will try to help if I can.

@ Fortiesboy

I really cannot see how using Ctrl+E for the engine start on another aircraft could make panning inoperative, and there are no Level-D commands that I know of that interfere with any of the default key or key combinations, he is better off tracking down any changes in key or joystick commands from within FSX.

It may be worth a trawl through the Level-D forum though as you never know someone may have come across this before, but as I say I have not heard of the 763 interfering with any other commands be they default or otherwise, but I have been wrong before so a visit to the forum might be worth the trip.

Jim Thanks for your reply. Yes, I cannot see any logic in it at all either. We have tried checking every possible view command within FSX and going back to default etc but no luck. The only change made to his computer was Level D plane installation, hence the speculative question :)

I'll try the forum you suggest, though I can see a re install of FSX coming up !

Thanks again

Hi

Having just reinstalled FSX twice recently due to none FS issues I really do not envy you that decision, but I really cannot see it being the 763 it is almost certainly a controller assignment or the FSX keys and controller assignments that have a conflict.

Sorry that I could not be of any real help on this one, but I really do hope you can get it rectified without a reinstall.

Take care.

Hi

A copy of the gauge is not a problem, and as you probably know by now I have sent you a PM with the download link for the files and installation instructions.

But it seems that after almost a year this topic has to be moved to a protected forum that is not visible to none members or indeed those members not signed in but just browsing the forums, so unfortunately you will be the last person to receive a copy, it is not the moving of the post it is the protected status of the “unofficial” support forum that is my issue.

As always, although you shouldn’t have any problems, but if you should then just let me know and I will try to help if I can, but as I say this will be the last time I visit this forum so it will have to be via the PM system if you should need to contact me, sorry about this.
