February 26, 201214 yr It looks like your 530 is set to VLOC instead of GPS so it is trying to follow a VOR radial. Switch the left button of the 6 buttons directly below the screen of the 530.edit: simultaneous post! Edited February 26, 201214 yr by ottor
February 27, 201214 yr Author If your navs are set to GPS and the issue still occurs, press "D" before you take off (or work that into your checklist) to reset the gyro.. I was having the same problem.. Read above.Bert has worked in the reset into his A/P mod. PM him if that in fact fixes the problem...

February 28, 201214 yr Or simply uncheck the 'enable gyro drift' tick box in the realism menu.Strangely, I still get occasional gyro drift, even with this box unchecked.. and the D key resets it. Bert
February 28, 201214 yr I saw that too, on e. g. the Lancair. Seems like the detailed gauges establish their own way of drift or at least override the FSX realism setting. So 'D' is a good habit on any before start checklist. However, it still develops and therefore the occasional key press may be recommended, before the approach for example.
