Ozx Grumman G21A Goose HD Redux and bush flying
I also didn't find the fde of the redux version at all convincing, particularly the behaviour of the constant speed props & engine. As I have the 'non-redux original' I use the nice textures of the redux with the original fde. Works for me!

which plane is better?
I have the C90 and the B200. I prefer the C90, it is much nicer to hand-fly. The B200 is faster.

B200- SP2 is out
Flying Bob you can fix the oil pressure in the .air file with Aircraft Airfile manager V2.2 Go to 544 (REC) Engine Oil Pressure ... (DBL) Oil Pressure Limit * 144 (psi), 14112 ... and change it to: (DBL) Oil Pressure Limit * 144 (psi), 19440 thanks for your fixes too. Ottor

IE9, no dropdown menus, post previews etc
I'm using IE9 (fully up-to-date) & I can't access the menu dropdowns and I don't get the popup previews of the posts, nor can I use the text editor (no icon bar). I must have turned off a browser feature or something. I have the latest Java and it is enabled in IE9. Do you have any advice that might resolve the issue? thanks, Ottor

Rex winds at altitude
I collated some mumbers from various Australian airports this morning. Seems to me the 5000'and 10,000' temps are off. date 11/17/12/19Z icao 0FT 5000FT 10000FT YAMB 18 20 10 YBAS 17 18 10 YBBN 19 20 10 YBRK 23 20 10 YBTL 23 18 09 YGEL 20 20 10 YHID 26 20 10 YMAV 10 20 10 YMML 09 20 10 YPDN 26 20 10 YPKU 25 20 10 YPLM 20 18 09 YPPH 16 18 09 YPTN 24 20 10 YSCB 12 18 10 YSNF 20 20 10 YSNW 13 18 10 YSRI 14 20 10 YSSY 17 20 10 YSTW 16 20 10 YWHA 14 19 11

Rex winds at altitude
I see the same problems on the east coast of Australia. The strongest wind is at the surface!

Landing gear extension
look for [contact_points] in the aircraft.cfg file. For point.0, point.1 and point.2 check the last two numbers which are currently 135.0, 137.0. The 135.0 is the Airspeed Limit. This is the speed at which landing gear extension becomes inhibited (knots). The 137.0 is Damage from Airspeed. The speed above which the landing gear accrues damage (knots). Change those to your liking. Vlo for a Malibu Mirage is 165 I think, and 195 for Vle. Good luck!

AP Not Tracking At All?
It looks like your 530 is set to VLOC instead of GPS so it is trying to follow a VOR radial. Switch the left button of the 6 buttons directly below the screen of the 530.edit: simultaneous post!

Where are you flying your JetProp
I've been flying up the east coast of Australia in stages, Camden (YSCN), Coffs Harbour (YSCH), Mackay (YBMK), Cairns (YBCS), Weipa (YBWP), Gove (YPGV), Darwin (YPDN). It wasn't my intention, but I think I'm going to circumavigate the country!Darwin approach...

oil temp
Believe it or not, I have no interest at all in the Duke or how it taxies. This is a PA46T forum and I don't want to read about some other product. Isn't there somewhere else you can take this? Don't Real Air have a forum?

Error List
A quick and dirty fix for the suction gauge reading high is to modify this line in the aircraft.cfg...[vacuum_system]max_pressure=7.00 //PSIto[vacuum_system]max_pressure=5.00 //PSI

STEC & G530 reset in Flight?
I have seen the same problem. The AP and GPS530 reset at least once during a flight. Last time after about 30 minutes flying. In my case the 530 shows the "Garmin" screen and the AP illuminates every label in both its displays. I have to turn off both units and turn them back on to get them working again. Also I need to load the plane twice to begin with to get the left screen of PFD to initialize.Ottor

Three noob questions
Put simply:The T210 has a turbocharged piston engine.The C208B has a turbine driving a propellor, which is known as a turboprop. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turboprop
