January 30, 201214 yr Hello guys,I have observe the following problem:After take off and activating the AP everything went normal but after a couple of minutes the AP and the GPS530 went back off and it looks like a reset....I have only a couple of letters in the STEC display which looks like similar a kind of reboot. I need to switch off the AP first and then need to put him back on, same with GPS530 where the screen is black just with the black screen.Any idea where the error is?Thanks in advance!CheersMark
January 30, 201214 yr I have had similar problems with the GPS (430 mainly but also 530) and the map display on the G500. After some time they seem to stop updating, not all at the same time. Noticeable on the G500 map, the aircraft symbol stops moving on the route - selecting a different range gets it working again. On the GPS, the NDB or VOR pages will stop updating - I have to resort to turning the 430 or 530 off then back on which fixes it most times. This has only been happening for 3 or 4 days now.Might be I have my traffic settings too high - I turned them up to 50% to get some of the OzX ADF AI to show up. I'll try turning them back to 20% and see.
January 30, 201214 yr Author Hi,sounds also like a error. For me it is the problem that it appears on every flight shortly after take off in the climb phase that the AP and the G530 stops/resetting which is not very comfortable. I installed the latest update by the way
January 30, 201214 yr I purchased my P46T after the last update and I also have observed this problem with the G500. Every now and then it flashes black and the range resets from whatever I had set (e.g 20 miles) to several hundred miles on the map. Once it reset and showed the entire Western U.S.I have noticed that the P46T seems more of a load on my computer than the Flight1 Citation Mustang. Since getting my new computer last fall, the Mustang has never had a CTD. Since buying the P46T, I have had two CTD's in a half dozen flights. All in all it's a beautiful model by Carenado. Now if I can just find the idiot who left a coffee ring on the folding table! :(
February 2, 201214 yr Now that I am getting to know my Malibu better, I have turned off the automatic zoom on the G500. It seems to have relieved a lot of the flashing and zoom problems. Has anyone else tried that?

The AP and GPS530 reset at least once during a flight. Last time after about 30 minutes flying. In my case the 530 shows the "Garmin" screen and the AP illuminates every label in both its displays. I have to turn off both units and turn them back on to get them working again. Also I need to load the plane twice to begin with to get the left screen of PFD to initialize.Ottor
February 6, 201214 yr My autozoom is turned off permanently.Would you please let me know how you turn the zoom off permanently? Thanks.
February 6, 201214 yr If you have my G500 mods it is set to off.If not, you have to edit the G500 config file.. Bert

February 10, 201214 yr I have the same problem as all of you. Do we know if Carendo knows about this problem and is working on a fix? I have both the updates on their site but still have the problem.Thanks.Bill
February 10, 201214 yr Yep, also on occasion I have the same problem. I just turn off and on the FD/AP switch and then everything works fine...Cheers
