I would point out that last time I looked at the stats-something like 70%-80-% of the air traffic in the United States is GA-not commercial.I personally have no interest in "heavies".

First, most people who may have a casual interest in aviation are not interested in "puddle jumpers"
If this were true... events like EAA Oshkosh would not be so overwhelmingly popular.
I dont agree with you Frankla. Fly to any GA day fly in at a local airport, and you will see THOUSANDS of people interested in flying. Just watch what aircraft have the biggest crowds. Sometimes its a jet, sometimes its a Seabee (its an odd looking aircraft!) and sometimes its a highly polished Tri-Pacer. They are ALL aspects of flight, and people are interested in them all.
Well the Corvalis TTX has got me and a few of my bodys free lunch while in some of the fly ins i had the chance to go . on the other hand its not a cheap rental at all .
