March 4, 201214 yr Tried out MS Flight and liked it enough to also get the Maule and Islands expansion. Anyway if there was a manual somewhere I would read it, but I can't seem to find one? 1- Is there a way to look up airport specs such as runway headings and altitudes while you are in flight doing a mission? I was flying some missions and had no idea what I was dealing with until I got to the actual airport.2- Is there a way to look up weather conditions at an airport prior to getting there?3- When looking from the Camera top down view, is there any way to orient it, so the the top is always north? 4- When I do some Aerocache hunting from the menu looking for specific ones it always starts me in flight above an airport. Is there any way to start from the ground? 5- I take it there is no real world weather option? Love Airplanes and American Muscle Cars

Not currently2- Is there a way to look up weather conditions at an airport prior to getting there? Not that I know of3- When looking from the Camera top down view, is there any way to orient it, so the the top is always north? Possibly...with an edit to the cameras.cfg file. I've been messing with the file recently and will have to check that out.4- When I do some Aerocache hunting from the menu looking for specific ones it always starts me in flight above an airport. Is there any way to start from the ground? Click any of the airport icons and click take off. It will still load the flight as an aerocache hunt.5- I take it there is no real world weather option? Not currently. Brandon Filer
March 4, 201214 yr 1- Is there a way to look up airport specs such as runway headings and altitudes while you are in flight doing a mission? You can't go to the Map now (like in Free Flight) during a mission?2. I don't think ATIS works at this time... best for now is the HUD that will show wind direction and speed.

March 4, 201214 yr i also have little question, i'm having trouble with check list precisely with position like check trim, pressure itp... (icons with eye). I tried zoom, click on desired gouge and position still dosen't check. i even tried to skim with "3" but it's doesn't help. What i'm doing wrong ?I also had some problems with that. First of all, things you have to check, with an eye icon, will never ever be 'checked' automatically, like other items (with a square before them that does get checked as soon as you've done what you had to do). So you always have to check with YOUR eyes and when things are right, you HAVE to press 3.However, I also quite often wasn't able to proceed, even not by pressing 3. I think it has something to do with not doing what you have to do right away and good at once. Example: you have to open throttle 20% (square chekpoint that's checked when you do it) and then you have check a gauge yourself (eye icon). Now if for some reason you bring back throttle before the gauge shows what it should show, the checlist is confused and you are stukc. At least, that's what seems to happen on my pc. Whenever I set throttle to 20% and make sure what has to happen next DOES actually happen, THEN I can press 3 to continue to the next item.Hope you still mean what I am trying to say...
