New AI Traffic website ?

Featured Replies

I'm sorry if this has been discussed already, I didnt find it on the forum, but today I found this website http://www.unitedtrafficteam.net/. I never seen it before, but I like what I see, it appears they developed 2 new AI models, which are the SSJ100 and the B737-200, also the big news is that they are working on a new model for the B747-8, I think the passenger version first, cuz thats the one on their main screen. Does anybody know more about them ? I tried to get to the forum, but I had no luck :(

Never heard of em. Why fix something that isn't broke? Ill stick with Alpha India/AI Aardvark

Maybe because there is no AI 747-8 available right now? :wink:I'm always happy to see new teams. If we'd always stick with the old stuff, we would still be using the historic PAI Models from the beginning days. AI is part of the same evolution that keeps bringing our FS to new heights. Alpha India doesn't do models and Ai Aardvark stopped producing models 3 years ago. So I am really glad to see someone filling in the gaps. If the quality is anywhere near the TFS models this would be awesome.

A new B737-200 would make sense, but a new SSJ100? This would be the third new model after Globusworld's (GWAI) and Ahmed Bouhashi's which was released yesterday at Avsim's library, and I still have to do some testing if GWAI's or Bouhashi's is better... If anybody has done this yet, I would like to share his/her experience.
Never heard of em.
At least the name Sergey Bunevich is well known for everybody who has a lot of CIS countries' AI-traffic.

Correction of my post above: Alpha India did develop some models. Thanks mohair27 for pointing that out :wink:Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the 747-8.

Yeah there are too many people working on the SSJ100, AI Aardvark did a version 2 of the B737 Classics, but the 737-200 is still an old version, so it makes sense to update this one, I'v been desperately waiting for any new information for the B747-8, since there is no AI model for the aircraft. I only dont understand why are they starting with the passenger version first, there are Cargo operators only, using the B747-8 for now.

Would not the only difference between the pax and the cargo version be in the textures?regards,Joe

It depends if the flight dynamics are different due to the ai method of adjusting GW for expended fuel when it is rendered as ai and also maybe if the .air or aircraft.cfg varies with station position loads for balance.

Yesterday I got an E-Mail from Globusworld saying that they have merged with UTT and that globusworld.net will close soon. So UTT's MD-11 and SSJ100 models are most likely developments of GWAI models.UTT website is filling fastly with the most interesting repaints, while the models aren't available yet. Waiting painfully for B732...

Fine news: the UTT B737-200 for AI is out now! Waiting for some more useful repaints than the "retro" things...
