How can we request features and fixes from Microsoft?

Featured Replies

I wish/hope there is some way MS Flight users can submit feature requests and bugs directly to the Microsoft Flight development team.Yes, there is an email address, but there seems to be no public forum or knowledge base for features and fixes, so we could see what's being considered or not. After my limited experience as a beta user (where we had a direct feedback database) and now with the initial release, I can say the top two missing features on my wish list are:1) Force feedback for my Microsoft Sidewinder FF2 joystick - surely the code already existsts add this missing bit of realism to Flight?2) Flight planning - another simple bit of code with a big payoff in added realism. It will be essential for flying around Alaska!Do some of you knowledgeable Forum members know if Microsoft has or will have a mechanism for gathering and displaying such feature requests?

I suspect they probably will, best thing for now - and I encourage everyone to do it, is to use the email address:[email protected]I sent an email yesterday stressing the urgent need, in my view, to have native Track IR support in Flight. As far as I can tell, this is the only direct pipeline to them at this time.

The forum is still open for posting, sir... you should still have access.

Yep, definitely and just to let you know, folks there are still being vocal about what we would like, so nothing is falling on deaf ears on our part.Craig

jschall: I guess, You shoud probably delete the link to discussions from your previous post. As many probably will try and won't be able to login.

I would if this Forum let me edit my post. It was working earlier today, but now the "Edit" button is gone. Anyway, dear reader, the Microsoft Beta Forum is only accessible to folks who were beta testers in December through February.
