March 12, 201214 yr Anyone else notice that our nosey FO wants to change my CDU page off of the selected (and correct) takeoff ref, and sets it to the main menu page? He does this after his FMC setup verification. I'll have to speak to Personnel if this keeps up ;)Regards,George
March 12, 201214 yr Yep, same here. Preston Van Name PMDG 747-400 PMDG MD-11 PMDG JS41 PMDG 737-NGX FS2Crew Voice Edition for each, except MD-11
March 12, 201214 yr Yes I can't say it happens on every flight but it does happen.Maybe if the two of us are reading/writing to the FMC at the same time it may conflict .. I dunno.. March 12, 201214 yr Not knowing how the SDK works, I can't say for sure. But it would seem the virtual F/O accesses certain information by using the FMC. Could this be correct? ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
March 12, 201214 yr This was mentioned in another thread and Bryan said that it shouldn't be happening. I think it happened to me once, but I honestly wasn't sure if I just pressed a button at some point.-stefan
March 12, 201214 yr Author Happens to me every flight. Must be something specific I'm doing. Oh well, very minor.-G

Oh well, very minor.-GThe F/O uses the Captains FMC because at start-up when only the battery switch is on, only the captains FMC is powered,..that's how he connects GPU, AS/AC and the chocks, there's no other way to do it. March 13, 201214 yr Commercial Member Damien is correct. We can't control the external air and power through the SDK... it's not available unfortunately. So I have to control it via the FMC.Usually I'd prefer to use the FO's FMC to do this task, but that's can be a problem if there's no AC power because the FO's FMC won't function without AC.In Hot Fix 1, I'm refining this to get around this issue.FS2Crew will use the FO's FMC, except if no AC power is avail.Cheers, B.
