Simple NAV (VOR) Tutorial

Featured Replies

Inspired by an end-of-runway refresher from Starztorm (thanks :) ) I created a simple tutorial for VOR navigation in the RV-6 (and Maule). In the last day (!!!) several posts have possibly made it redundant, but I've finished it and its on my website and may be useful to some.Find it here http://members.multimania.co.uk/keithb77/ in the Flight pageCheersKeith

My antivirus (Eset NOD32), block that page from loading :(.

Yeah I clicked the link and did not like what I saw initially so quickly exited...

Google and nod32 block this site.

Yeh, me too. Who is the OP? Anyone vouch for him?

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

NOD32 blocks it also here.

I give the OP the benefit of the doubt as being legit, he seems to have some posting history. What's likely happening is there's a banner showing up on the site he linked to which contains nasties, or the web server itself is infected. Either way, I'd stay away from the link until the OP confirms the issue has been resolved.

Your hosted site is full of clicky adds . . . which makes it nearly impossible to view your tutorial.

Nothing bad on that site. I suspect his domain hosting company have been known to host "bad" websites. His is fine. I'm on it nowbestjakeAnd I can't see any clicky ads either...

i didnt get any warnings.. or ads with adblock plus. maybe it is the ads which have a bad history

Try http://members.multi...ght/NavTut.html (Sorry to the OP if this isn't what he wanted, but this takes you straight to the tutorial)bestjake
Same result. We can allow a Nod exception but I would prefer not acting this way.Thx

I am sure the OP's intent was not harmful, I won't however go near a site like that. Maybe he can find another place to upload...
