Hi,Is the RTA page operational? I see it in the FMC but it is grayed out? Note that I have not yet looked to see what its state is in SP1c, but is something I was meaning to ask, given the MD-11 has this function.Best regards,Robin.

I believe rta is something they expect to add in sp2.

As said, not yet working. Look over at SP1c thread, in the last few pages, there is a post from Ryan explaining that they did not model it for 737 release, as they feel it is almost never used by 737 drivers. However, they are going to do it for the 777, and expect to integrate it into the 737 as well, possibly by SP2.

Ron: Go take a look at the "other" 737, if you own it.RTA baisically lets you put a "Required Time of Arrival" (see? :) ) at a specific waypoint, and the plane will set the speed so that you will actually get there when needed. Good for ocean crossing, among others.

:-\Considering the base models (i.e. not -ER) are capable of trans-oceanic flight, it would be good to have this feature, especially as the page is there and the MD-11 has it.Consider this post another request for the feature!!Best regards,Robin.
