March 22, 201214 yr For those that don't check the Hardware forums here, a user has posted a Youtube video with a quick preview of the soon to be released (seems to be out at some places) Nvidia Kepler GTX680, showing triple monitor support from one video card. Skip to 2:30 in the video to see the multi monitors. Hope this is for real, and works similar to Eyefinity. I see a new video in the near future, and I might add, it's about time.GlenSorry for the messy post, edit is not working.Sorry for the messy post, edit is not working. March 22, 201214 yr Really nice stuff. I do play BF3 and love the game. Maybe this will open the doors for multi-monitor setups without considerable performance loss. Thanks for posting.Bob Officially retired
March 23, 201214 yr I recently took back three 24" LED screens.. I currently run on three 19" LCD's using TH2Go.. I have been hooked on MS since FS4 and am strongly considering XP10.. I am debating on building a new tower so whatever sim i have will run nice.. Sitting around at work yesterday bored out of my innocent mind i was looking at reviews on this card yesterday.. EXPENSIVE (OOOH yeah).. However, you wouldn't really need to run an SLI setup at this time with this thing either.. Does XP really benefit from SLI anyway??
March 24, 201214 yr Fsx has no SLI benefit, i will be watching this card close. What about forced SLI in AFR mode using Nvidia Inspector?http://forum.avsim.net/topic/293177-i-got-crossfire-working-in-fsx/This guy managed to do it. Jeff Thomson
March 24, 201214 yr Yet another graphic card with PCI Express 3 support... :( !This must be an awesome GPU for X-Plane:http://developer.x-p...g-about-anyway/http://developer.x-p...ame-rates-pt-1/Where can I find a GTX680 review with a X-Plane benchmark ? Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
March 24, 201214 yr I don't think the recently released GTX 680 has the VRAM to run XPX at a triple monitor resolution with decently "high" settings.Has anybody else noticed that XPX at mostly high settings and somewhat high FSAA at 2560x1600 uses almost 1.6GB of VRAM?I bet triple monitor would be insane. Of course....with the 4GB GTX 680 just around the corner... :) Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

March 25, 201214 yr Author Ark, they come with 2gb of vram, more than adequate. That's what I currently have with my Ati 6970 triple monitor Eyefinity setup, and run at very high settings at 4024x1024. Mind you 3 or 4 gb would be even better. :smile:Glen Gigabyte z590 UD - i5 11600k 4.9 GHz - 64gb 3600 MHz ram - RTX 3070 ti - multiple ssd - 34" 3440x1440 100 Hz Curved - Saitek Yoke Pedals Throttle Quadrant x2 - TM T16000m x2 Throttle - Win 11 Pro
