Weight Problem

Featured Replies

I prefer cargo/passenger missions in the 500-600 pound range. That means 3 passengers, but never 4. I've taken off (and landed) overweight a few times. You might want to pass up those 900 pound missions until we have a more capable plane. As for locking a mission out if it's overweight, I hope they never do it. This is the kind of thing where people learn.Hook
They should unlock those missions for icon and boeing too

especially Mr Snarky who wants you to run everything by the book
Mr. Snarky needs to be more careful. We're operating outside the law already, and there's an awful lot of ocean out there.

Not much cargo space in those planes. Not much passenger space either. I've already forwarded a few suggestions to spice up the other aircraft, which should be doable without needing additional resources.Hook

Well, if you can load 1000lbs in Maule and take off overweighted, why we are not allowed to do same with icon?

I presume we'll be getting bigger cargo plane(s) at some point, and then most of the missions should be 'doable' anyway,
Agreed, that is the way I view those as well - just another subtle hint within the game that more is coming...

I've been using 3000 as my upper limit for flying overweight. I've successfully operated at this weight on many of the non-agricultural airstrips on the Hawaiian Islands. Good luck trying STOL over the proscribed limit though...
