March 28, 201214 yr Apparently the Flight staff followed my #2 suggestion, adding the Zero ... but the one supplied with the good old CFS2 had got an excellent virtual cockpit ... and it was 12 years ago ...
March 28, 201214 yr I might add another suggestion, I don't think I saw listed:A mission builder for the program. I could see that being very popular maybe with the multiplayer folks? Don B
March 28, 201214 yr 1. AI planes, cars, boats, birds, any life at all, besides the static displays. 2. ATC 3. real weather, customizable weather 4. Flight developer management that listens to its customers.
March 28, 201214 yr #1 Weather - Real world, downloadable weather.#2 Weather - Realistically modelled weather. I don't want to see any more blue skies during "heavy" thunderstorms and precipitation. No more strange fluffy things called clouds but rather looking like make-up pads. BTW: Anybody seen a bolt of lightning or sheet lightning, OK just some kind of electric discharge in Flight yet?#3 Weather - Full configurability and still dynamic change when not online - and 100% cloud cover looking like 100%!I know, FSX and FS9 both had the same issues, but hey, that was six years or more ago. Time to get it fixed.Other than that:#4 Full controller configuration menu - The current situation is a b***y joke. Can't set any axes parameters, several axes (brakes, differential brakes) are missing at all. Right, I can start to dig around, editing some XML-files to get halfway where I want to go. But what's the point... and then Flight overwrites everything again.#5 Avionics and VC at least at FSX default aircraft level. AP, GPS, it's all been there in the past and gone now...#6 More realistic engine modeling - FSX level would be sufficient as a starter.#7 If it shouldn't have been mentioned before: AI traffic - air, land, sea, a dynamic, populated, living world. Fed up with that "just dropped a neutron bomb 5 minutes ago" look of Flight.#8 Moving Map again.#9 When there are passengers/cargo I want to see what I'm flying around. Ghosts are somewhat detrimental to the immersion effect...#10 Last not least - just some basic ATC and some lively background chatter on the radio. It's so frustrating hearing the sound clips during mouseover on the map and then going to the silent barren airwaves of Flight when starting the journey.Could go on with many more but if at least these things would get fixed any time soon I'd probably give Flight a second chance and might even buy some DLC in the future. However, seeing the strange acting of JH I'm not overly optimistic...Regards Thomas

March 28, 201214 yr 1. Better clouds. Existing are either lame or look like plane surface (like in the mission where you supposed to get over cloud level to see the comet).2. Dynamic weather. Rain, thunderstorm, etc.3. Moving map / GPS.4. If not 3, at least I want static detailed map where I'll be able to see runway directions.5. Some air, road and sea traffic. Make the world live.6. Better keymapping. For mixture, prop, and other functions.7. Planes with cocpits.8. Custom paint schemes for aircrafts.9. Functional radio.10. Ability to turn off / hide messages like "Press N to...".11. Passengers in passenger seat when we have them. It's weird to talk with empty seat.12. More tutorials. Not only for beginners like me, but I guess aces will also appreciate lessons for some sophisticated things. Something like virtual flying school with an instructor would be great.
March 28, 201214 yr I wish I wasn't a high school student.Lol, I wish I were. Man that was so dang many years ago - on second thought, no, don't think I could go back there again! Don B
March 28, 201214 yr Author Who want FS XI ???????Raise your hand !!That's not a suggestion. And you know that Microsoft will not create FSX again. As stated by Howard: "If there is a need in the flight simulation world, we will go back to creating flight simulators" or something like that. Please if you want to make a suggestion that is reasonable, feel free. But if you want Microsoft to create a new flight simulator, then you shouldn't be on this forum. Alex Leung Aerospace Engineering Undergraduate Glider & Private Pilot via Royal Canadian Air Cadets
March 29, 201214 yr Holy ######alex, out of curiosity. is there any feedback to your post in the beta forum already? any word? any comment. I mean from MS?oh, and add this please to my list:#18 Please change the setup process and give us an option to keep the installer file instead of deleting it of the installation. I downloaded the base pack now I guess 20 times because I needed to reinstall Flight because of my corrupted installation (see #15) and it helped if I had the installer on my HD somewhere. Found a workaround though by now and save the cab before it was installed and then deleted but this is not really consumer friendly. With my ‘offline’ cab file which I unzipped I am able to repair my installation which helps me and I do not need a complete re-install. March 29, 201214 yr A nice shinney North American AT-6 Texan with a full operational cockpit. It was used all over the world as an advanced training after the Boeing Stearman. NO one sat in a P-51 without first mastering the Texan / Harvard. This would be a great addition.
