March 28, 201214 yr Has anyone managed to get Aivlasoft EFB working properly in Prepar3d yet? It all works apart from letting me enable the aircraft follow feature. I think it's that the Data Provider isn't getting information from Prepar3d. Any ideas?
March 28, 201214 yr Have you checked the Aivlasoft Support Forums?I remember some discussion about P3D going on there. Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
March 28, 201214 yr Author Yeah I've looked over there, not much talk of Prepar3d at all. I've registered though so I'll ask there too. Have you checked the Aivlasoft Support Forums?I remember some discussion about P3D going on there.
March 28, 201214 yr Hi,I have not been able to get it to work with P3D 1.2 as well as 1.3. I asked on their forum if EFB was going to support P3D in the future, I was told they are going to try and support it, but it may be a while before this ever comes about.http://www.aivlasoft.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=797&p=4892&hilit=Prepar3D#p4892When I asked this question the price of P3D was much higher than $49.00, maybe the new direction taken with the academic license may speed up the EFB compatibility update. March 29, 201214 yr Author Hi Mike,I saw your post over at the EFB forums. I was hoping things might have moved on a bit since then. This is a real shame, it's the only thing left that I use a lot that doesn't work. Apart from UT2 that is.... Still trying to resist spending £50 on My Traffic 3D!
April 11, 201214 yr It seems that there is no P3D support really soon. http://www.aivlasoft...c.php?f=4&t=952 Patric
April 13, 201214 yr Commercial Member We have a P3D license and are looking to see what the effort will be to get EFB running with P3D. No promises until we know what we're doing. (Which itself leads to a little bit of... :LMAO: ) (Each product functions in a fully-functional trial mode for interested users.)
