The tyre pressure is varying between 117-205PSI for the main gear and 123-208 for the nose gear.Cheers

I think my VNAV overshooting the descent path one the NGX was due to me using a very high cost index (80). When I use less than 30 it works fine.
It shouldn't really.. Like one said, it was probably due to some other factor. No matter what CI you punch in, the FMC is going to adjust the plan to fit.So in theory, if all is normal in the world, a CI of 80, should be no less workablethan a CI of 36. Even on fairly short routes.I know myself, I have run from Houston to Dallas using almost every CI youcan imagine.. From the 30's to 99. I never had a problem using any of them. But there is a definite difference in the speeds used. Most glaring when belowmach speeds, but even the mach speeds will be adjusted. With a high CI, it's not uncommon to see a IAS of 320 or so when below machspeeds. Where as a lower CI, you might be in the 290-300 knot range. The versions of 737's vary too on these speeds. But even though the higher CI gives you higher speeds, the FMC is takingthis into account, and will be adjusting the VNAV path to make it work. One thing I found interesting.. Some Southwest fans claimed they were using 36for a while. Now some sources say 20..But when I was watching that 737-700 delivery video, they were climbing out at301 knots.. I'd have to experiment with the sim to get a match, but I'm havingtrouble seeing them use a CI of 20, and climbing out at 301..That climb speed would normally be closer to the 36-45 range just judging fromsense of smell using the various indexes. So I'm kind of thinking it can vary tothe flight, and is not etched in stone. Or maybe it was the light load that effected things.. Not sure..But I normally wouldn't expect a CI of 20 in a 700 to climb at 301 knots. It would usually be less than that.I was using 36, but lately I've bumped up to 40.. I like to climb out near 300 knots, and 36 was giving me low/mid 290's or so climb outs.. So I bumped it up just a tad.Fuel is free in FSX. :)BTW, there is one older video of a Southwest cockpit where the guy asked themwhat CI they were using.. They seemed kind of surprised that he would ask that, and one said 99, which surprised the guy asking the question..I don't know if they really used that, or if they were just pulling his leg..Or maybe the info is proprietary and a secret.. I think it is for some airlines..But that's what they said.. But this was back in the mid 2000's when fuel wascheaper. There were in a 700, but using the old EFIS-MAP layout.

And JetTime runs CI of 20, when er fly charter flights. :-) And if It's ACMI flights it dependere on the current Company er fly for. :-)

I found out in these forums that my favorite NG operator, Delta, uses 13.My 2nd fav, Southwest, is 20.However, these low CI's lead to slow descent speeds, so I have to manually edit the descent speed to 280kts.

Hi,Just to update the Norwegian situation,CI 15 is used on all domestic flights as a standard. All other flights to other countries use a CI of 40.If however the plane is running late through say, airport delays the Captain may increase the CI of 15 to a figure not exceeding 40.Norwegian use a standard descent spedd of 260 knts in accordance with an E agreement in Northern Europe.
