Anyone know if there's a single good New York State scenery pack out there? I'm a bit new to FSX and want to fly my home state, but it looks pretty fugly in the base game. Not sure where I would look for a comprehensive set of NY (upstate and downstate preferably) scenery.

Aerosoft has a New York City scenery package that looks pretty good but only coveres the city for the most part. FSDT and BluePrint offer KJFK and of course GEX offers replacement ground textures that cover the whole US and of course the state of NY, but they are generic and not photoreal. Of course you could also add UT USA for the roads and vector data for New York and the rest of the US. Aside from that I dont think there is anything else available for the state of NY at the moment.

A very nice NY state scenery package, including landclass, was available as lowslownys.zip (1.54 MB) (See this - http://www.flightsim.co/2010/03/low-n-slow-new-york-state.html ), but the file seems no longer available. I have a copy so PM me if interested.

There are also some good Niagra area sceneries over at Aerosoft I believe

Ultimate Terrain USA and Ground Environment USA/Canada would be a good combo, purchased from flight1.com

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to try GEX and UTX because I suppose they'll be nice to have regardless. Low 'n Slow NY sounds pretty great too. I'll shoot you a PM Rudi.
