FPS Limiter V0.2

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am having trouble with this limiter and unsure how to fix the problem. I have asked over in the FSX forum with no luck and so I am now trying here. So anyway, its not limiting the frames. I have made the bat and made a shortcut to the desktop which opens FSX and all, but the frames are no where near what my limitation is set to. Any ideas? And I don't want to use the nVidia one because that just doesn't do as good a job and I have trouble with the antilag one. This is the only one that has in the past worked for me, now it just isn't. Could it have anything to do with the d3d9.dll I use to do with FXAA?

Don't use this - use the limiter built into the Nvidia driver. You can force FXAA with the Nvidia driver as well.

Ok then. I will give the nVidia one another shot.

Which Nvidia driver has a frame rate limiter?

How do you use the FXAA properly? I just got a 580 and I am eager to test this out.

I have the FXAA settings set in the manager for it and they look really good, but I still have to set the AA and filtering within the inspector, is there a better way?

Can you please show me a screen shot of your settings?

There's a few but I will try and get them up a bit later.

Doesn't FXAA require the game itself to support it?

In which case FSX wouldn't.

Or am I wrong?

Could someone just show me a screenshot of how it should be setup in Inspector.

Very first picture in his post. You can see it under "Common." It's the 4th entry in the section.

sorry, I could not get pictures up. My computer completely crashed and I am now in the process of restoring it to its former glory.
