how come you see them too?

very complex technical stuff. it's the new hardware-based screenshot option in windows you used, which replaces the old software based one. now, when you press "print" your windows communicates with a fancy NASA-satellite (or sometimes also a Lockheed U-2, if one is close by) and they will take a high-res screen through your roof of your display and edit/render it. i can also see some coffee spilled on your screen if i take a closer look! :P

As Joe said its probably ATV trails as it stops near the steeper/rockier parts of the mountain.

Give me a quad and scenery like that and that's my paradise.
