Serious issue with NGX

Featured Replies

It acts like this?:

If yes, it could be due to both irs aligned in ATT mode on ground and a bug partially (90%) fixed by pmdg guys.

After sp1a or b I tried it again (or it was during an inflight irs att alignment on both irs) and got the problem again. I'm out for honeymoon and on the netbook I cannot check it.

Align the IRS in the correct way (NAV) and if it was the problem, it will disappear.

This happen to me yesterday. I thought it could be AS2012 since it was my first flight with it. Never had a problem in 3 years with my CH yoke and pedals.

Reset flight immediately after and problem disappeared. Haven't flown again so I do not know if it still exists.

I had the same problem with throttle handling with empty center tanks.

I think after installing SP1c..

When I started a NGX flight with engines running, throtte response was normal, then I changed fuel quantity via FMC to a level with empty center tanks and the engines shut down imediately. (this should not happen I think)

After the shut down I was able to start the engines with normal procedures, but any throttle input were ignored by the engines now. (And the "overhead" warning dit not disapear after engine start)

Once I sufferd the problem during cruise flight. As soon as the center tanks were empty, the engines shut down.

After restarting the engines any throttle input were ignored..

So maybe this problem is related to empty center tanks somehow.

Anyway I followed Ryan's suggestion to uninstall all liverys and run the installer SP1c again.

This solved the problem with the throttle for me. (Thanks!)

Another problem I have with the NGX SP1c is that when I start FSUIPC (latest version) in the running simulation FSX crushes to desktop..

What could cause this?

Delete your FSUIPC.ini and that will fix it.

Darn, that normally works Daniel, Can you PM me your DLL.xml and I can check it for you, Located in same folder as fsx.cfg. Pete Dowson is away for a few days, so you might have to wait a few days for support.

You're right by me, then. I'm 20 miles west of the city, near IAD.

Dulles was our arrival airport, and will be our departure for JFK with a Delta CRJ
