April 17, 201214 yr What does 2sgss mean/stand for? And how can add it? 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling is what it stands for, seem's no one took the time to inform you. It's the Antiialiasing Transparency Supersampling setting in NVIDIA Inspector. This is quite old news. Puts more strain on the card, with less quality than 2xSGSS. In your opinion, On a 27" AA_MODE_METHOD_SUPERVCAA_64X_4v12 looks sharper imo, each to there own But I will give it a try for FPS, " Don't knock it till you try it" as they say. David Murden. April 17, 201214 yr I changed now FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION from 0.20 to 0.10 Usepools=0 i already had, but together with: RejectThreshold=131072 I removed RejectThreshold=131072 Now i have slightly better framerates: let's say 28 instead of 27 and a slightly higher framerate deviation: about 4% instead of 2% but that's not noticeable in flight. So RejectThreshold=131072 was not needed i suppose, i think this came with the Bojote tuned fsx.cfg. Bart With kind regards, Bart S.
April 17, 201214 yr Not to sound inpolite: but I put all of that into my guide. Reading in detail might pay off
April 17, 201214 yr Not to sound inpolite: but I put all of that into my guide. Reading in detail might pay off Yes that's true, now i read it in detail and it's all in there .... :Hypnotized: You did a great job! :Peace: With kind regards, Bart S.
April 17, 201214 yr Word Not Allowed, in your Nvidia Inspector settings in: http://dl.dropbox.co...-08 FAQ/NI1.jpg you have: Antialiasing \ Nvidia Predefined FXAA usage= disallowed I see in mine i have 'allowed'. EDIT: in the meantime i read this: http://forum.avsim.n...5-fxaa-for-fsx/ I understand it's better to have it off because you can have blurries in instruments, so i will change it to 'disallowed'. April 18, 201214 yr Word Not Allowed, I read your review for the pfc yoke. I have a question. 1-The metal one I have is from 2007 and yearly the springs inside are broken. I never could reach the company due to the fact that my supplier said at those times the company does not produce any more, so sorry about that. so I made my own springs but never the less, its called Vmax , was that from the same company as pfc? 2-I also have a quadrant throttle from PFC and I use the software fsxpfc from peter downson which is not the fsuipc which i also have. the question is ,the pfc company offers a new quadrant(looks like exactly the same I have)do you know if this one uses the fsxpfc also? because I read in the review you set the fsuipc. but there is before the fsuipc as mentioned the fsxpfc in dowson download. how do I have to see this. are there two softwares? do you have any comment or do i have to search further. the present one I have is not working properly. from time to time the throttles within the fsx game are going to switch and move around untill I calibrate again. If I do it in fsuipc than the fsxpfc takes it over. english is not my first language so sorry for that. doeke paula
April 18, 201214 yr Seriously, why do you post into a thread about supersampling a question on the yoke?! For me hard to understand, because while reading the review you could have posted into thread there!
April 18, 201214 yr sorry, below your name was the link for the review, so i clicked and forgot that this does not belong here. let it be paula
