KDFW great frames with 8xS and 2SGSS

Featured Replies

After using some recommended settings of Word Not Allowed's of 8xS and 2SGSS. I now have smooth frames in a fast aircraft I have never had before. Thanks Word Not Allowed and looking forward to the tweaksheet!

Any addon terrain/land class etc? Looks great.

Nice shots Aaron! I too recently embraced Word Not Allowed's settings and what a difference they made on my system. It's now silky smooth and I'm loving it.

Cheers,

Pete

I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZCORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11

I use 8xSQ now, it makes my aircraft looking sharper in outside view than 8xS with apperently no framerate loss with my Asus GTX570 DCII 1.28 GB.

FTFF = 0.20

Antialiasing Transparency Supersampling 4x

Anisotropic Filtering 16x

With kind regards,

8xSQ was taking too much of a hit on my system. If its working on yours thats great! Glad your frames are smooth!

Yup using 8xS and 2SGSS and FFTF=.15 here along with the 1/2 refresh rate has totally transformed fsx for me. Thanks for your hard work Word Not Allowed.

Happy you are enjoying it guys. It's just a result of months and months of tweaking and testing stuff. Things might as well change with the next generation hardware, but with SB things are really working great!

As for the double posts, seems like a forum problem, it's being looked into.

Can you tell me what FFTF Stands for,and where I'd find it?

Thank You

I have been using 8s and 2sgss because of a lot of shimmering at lower aa settings. but it pushes my graphics card a lot, i also see artifacts over crowded areas.

Sorry guys, forum is acting up, I guess they are working on it. Take a look into Hardware section, Video cards...

I will probably be posting the tweaking guide today or tomorrow, gotta see when I get time to go through.

Thanks Word Not Allowed! :D
