April 21, 200422 yr Moderator >By the way, how does the FS9 Traffic slider affect GA-Traffic?>I have mine set to 50% right now during some testing. Does>that mean I'd get 50% of the 100% I have the slider set for in>GA-Traffic?No. Setting the slider to 50% means that only those flight plans that are set to 50% or below will be used. If there are flightplans at 51% or higher, they'll be ignored.I've noticed that the default is 10% for the GA traffic, so having the slider below 10% will eliminate all those flightplans.BTW, the quickest way to determine if you have traffic from any particular traffic .bgl is to simply rename all the others so they won't get loaded! If you see any AI, you can be sure it's coming from the one you're testing...Also, if you don't have the "Traffic Toolbox" module installed, run, don't walk to the MSFS support website and download the "Traffic Tools SDK" The AI Mapview is phenomenal for scoping out AI traffic! :) Fr. April 22, 200422 yr Hi,your right the GA-Traffic flightplan use 10%.If you or someone else have a good idea what value I should use I could change this easily. One thought is to use the 'weight/Max GA weight' factor as percentage, which would result that the heavy planes get high percentages. Or to give the first plane at a particular airport a high and the last plane a low value, so you could change the amount of traffic by the FS9 slider. So if someone has a good idea please post ith here:
April 22, 200422 yr Hi Al,sorry to here this, but this should be a FS9 problem. GA-Traffic generates only the flightplans, if the plane is flying is totally the task of FS9.I have no idea how FS9 do this.
April 22, 200422 yr I like it just the way it is. I have removed all GA traffic from my Traffic_PAI.bgl and use Traffic-GA.bgl to provide all GA trafic. This way my commercial traffic load is set by the FS9 traffic slider and, as long as that is set above 10%, then the "Percentage of GA parking spaces used" slide controls the amount of GA traffic. So I say, leave it like it is. R-
