USAir in the 90's

Recommended Posts

Repaint has been uploaded to the Avsim library, and should be available once they go through the next batch update.

I started with USAir in 1989, when the red and blue trim was just starting to come on line. Perhaps I'm a little biased, but few airlines looked better than a fresh clean USAir paint job. Too bad they didn't stay polished and shiny for very long after we pushed them out the door :)

Very nice Kerry. Ah, the good old days. I started with Allegheny/US Air in CLE in 1979.

This U.S. Air livery and Eastern Airlines silver hockey stick livery are two airline liveries that are the most memorable to me and made any plane just look so darn cool. Great work

I agree, both where great looking livery's.

I miss Eastern, I use to fly them all the time. They always overbook every flight and I always got bumped to 1st class! What a great airline! I miss them.

Awesome repaint of an awesome livery! Was my favorite for the longest time. Will echo the others about Eastern as well. Flew them both back on the 70s/80s...love bare metal planes!

Kerry, we might be going back to the all metal livery, it just won't look like that. :))

the -200 surely is a beautiful plane, always loved to see them when we finally arrived in Frankfurt earlier when I was 3-4 yrs old ^_^

Thanks every one. I had a lot of fun making this one.

@ mike, yes, I have been following that track...going to be interesting to see how it goes. I have even toyed around with making some composite paint jobs to see what things could look like :)
