April 19, 201214 yr Hi! I just installed the SP1 10 minutes ago and wanted to take her for a flight. I recognized that the Avidyne doesn´t show the flightplan, entered into the RXP GNS 430, anymore. Before the patch, that worked without any problems... Just another confirmation. I have to turn my RXP GNS430 off before the Avidyne and the EFIS play together fully properly as they did, prior to installing the RXP unit. This observation happens when trying to run a stored FS flight plan on the Avidyne. Bob :Nerd: Bob Magill
April 19, 201214 yr OK, if you want to have the Avidyne show the RXP 430W flightplan, you need two things: - RXP GNS R 1.6. which has not been formally released (but I can provide a link to a pre-release copy, which updates your current V1.4.) - LinkGPS=On set in the rxpgns.ini file for the airplane Bert

Also, what is the exact name of this file as it is in our installation? I would assume it is one of the files in the Program Data folder. (?) Any info appreciated. Regards, Bob Bob Magill
April 19, 201214 yr Bob, I've sent you a PM with instructions. If you want to back up your V1.4. files, they are - rxpgns.dll in the gauges folder - rxpgnssim.dll in the Reality XP folder Bert
April 19, 201214 yr After adding the linkGPS entry, everything is fine again. Now I can enjoy this beautiful plane again which became significantly better with SP1. Thank you Bert for the fast help!

April 20, 201214 yr Check your PM.. BTW, if it does not work In Europe, try a North America flight and let me know the outcome! Since I do all my flying here in Europe ... will there be an official update which enables RXP GNS Avidyne route support also for Europe? When may we expect such an official update to show up? Thanks Dave Dave P. Woycek
April 20, 201214 yr Dave, This is something that is on the list of things to be fixed before V1.6. is formally released. V1.6. is currently a "use at your own risk" pre-release with limited distribution. Bert
