I must agree. That is some serious stuff, awesome,

Mr. James Price, you built the ultimate flight simulator/game or "big boy toy" as you said. Congratulations.

The cockpit software is Project Magenta and the outside visuals are FSX using 3 overhead projectors.

The cockpit hardware is from Flighdeck Solutions in Toronto.

I got very good advice from James and a few other cockpit builders a few years ago for this project.

Fred, I didn't know you had built one using a real nose, now a FTD at Shannon airport Ireland.

That is amazing.

Thanks Ramon. It was a lot of hard work and took about 18 months to get it right.

The nose section came from a Canadian Airlines 737 200 which had been broken up at Opa Locka in Miami Florida.

James and a few other guys sourced the other Boeing stuff for me in Kentucky. The most expensive part was actually shipping it to Ireland.

It was shipped in a large custom built crate and travelled across the north atlantic in a cargo ship. (middle of November)

It arrived in Liverpool UK and was then shipped to Dublin Ireland. It got to me by truck.......all in one piece lol.

so, i wonder what kind of hardware setup he has in his computer...the monitors (at least one) were touch screen...but looked like it was win2000, lol.

imagine what flight would look like on that running through xfire gtx 570's :Drooling:

Eheh... this is exactly the opposite of FLIGHT in terms of investment. I can't blame him though... If I were an air traffic controller I would certainly earn the money to invest on such a "toy"... A few ATC around here have thei private planes at my local airfield, and enjoy flying on their resting days....
