Is anyone using FS Kneeboard 2?

Featured Replies

I'm considering this for my iPad, it seems to be a nicely done app which does everything I'd like it to do.

Accesses to 16,000 IAP's, over 200 Enroute Charts... WX, Winds Aloft, Dropbox Integration and custom checklists...

At $20.00 USD its a bit pricey, but if it can produce what they say it does, it will be worth it IMHO.

Is anyone using it?

Yeah... okay... I just saw the support forum for them here on Avsim...

Use it on every VATSIM flight and had started using it when it was version 1...very handy.

Yep. Awesome. Never fly without it. EFB + FS Kneeboard 2.

If interested, this is my procedure:

EFB has a nice list of approaches, in which I can view from which direction I am coming. A quick overview if you will. Choosing departure or arrival is a quick thing. Then when I know which one I am using...

FS Kneeboard2, I load the relevant charts, to have them quickly accessible in critical moments. STAR, TRANS, Approach, Airport... EFB is way too slow to react when time is critical. FSK is perfect. Besides, FSK is real charts. EFB is only a procedure.

FSKneeboard 2 is quality and well worth it. Great support too. Check out the forum right here on Avsim.

Too bad you missed the 20% off special when it was released a few weeks ago.

Yes - and I'm really not biased - I used it anyway. It is really comprehensive as described above - the Dropbox feature nailed it too..Great support - what more could anyone ask for?
