April 26, 201214 yr Author Thanks Ryan OK I now have 3 new files after the link Ryan 1xbasemap.bin 1xworldwide.bin 1xterrain.odb I cannot see a shortcut or a way of running the 530 trainer? Do I need to run the trainer or just copy files to the right place? David Murden. April 26, 201214 yr Just copy the files to the right place first. You don't need to run the trainer to "activate" them or anything like that; you should run the RealityXP configurator to ensure that the gauge can find the path to the trainer. That said, you CAN run the trainer if only to check that the replaced files are indeed the updated navigation databases...as the trainer (and the gauge itself) powers up, its routine will ID those databases and will display the validity dates for them.
