FO V1 call absent ...

Featured Replies

I have reinstalled wonderful FS2Crew a couple of times. An earlier problem has gone away, which is nice: APU now starts up okay as specified on the CFG panel. But on takeoff, the PMDG call still invenes at V1, rather than thre FO, who nevertheless goes on to make the VR and V2 calls just fine. The PMDG simulation panel definitely has the NGX calls switched OFF.

Has anyone seen and solved the same issue?

Many thanks.

If I'm not mistaken there are actually 2 toggle settings for the V1 callout in the options. One located along with the Vr & V2 and the other one in the equipment or display options I believe. It is a V1 toggle on/off by itself.

Hope this helps. It may also be in the simulation options.

That is correct.

If you have your PMDG options set so the GPWS makes the V1 call, the FS2Crew FO will not make the V1 call.

Oh okay, but a V2 FO call does feature as a sim option in the NFX setup - as visible in your nice tutorial's screenshot. Wonder why it's there: maybe some airlines add it to their own SOPs ...

Anyway, all's now perfect with my FA2C!

Best wishes,

David
