May 14, 201214 yr thats a file in the SIM or Real GPS for like ... homecockpit ? It's add-on software - the links Wayne provided should help, but in a nutshell it's based on Garmin's 430/530 trainer software and implements full (or 99.9% anyway) functionality of the actual unit. It's as real a GPS as you can get. The single biggest drawback is that the navdata is not updateable, but you can get data as current as June of 2011. The other advantage to the RXP units is that they're supported by a wide range of aircraft from multiple vendors. While not cheap, they can be used in multiple aircraft - I use my RXP GPS's in every plane I own except the Flight1 Mustang (for obvious reasons). Scott
