Speed Restriction Command

Featured Replies

I was told by ATC today "No speed restriction" below 10,000ft, so I used the FS2Crew voice command "Delete the speed restriction" but nothing happened.

Does this command refer to the Speed Restriction in the CDU climb page 250/10,000, which is what I was trying to delete - in the end I did it manually.

I tried this several times with the correct response in the green bar, so it was recognising what I was saying.

Just tried this again this morning, being very careful to pronounce the 's' at the end. I can confirm it is displayed correctly in the Green Bar and the FO says check afterwards. He then selects the CLB page on his CDU but does not delete the 250/10000 speed restriction.

I don't imagine this command is used very often with the majority of FS2Crew/NGX Captains, which may be why it hasn't been mentioned before.

Out if interest have you tried it yourself and does it work ?

V1.4 will be out very soon once the new "on-line live map" system is complete.

Seems to me, I was missing something.

What exacly is "online live map", Bryan?

Hi Glen,

I'll check and fit it in V1.4.

V1.4 will be out very soon once the new "on-line live map" system is complete.

OOO! Good news, Bryan!

I am happy surprised!

Best wishes!
