1. Does flylogic's scenery need Switzerland Professional to work/show correct? I want to get Sion but not sure if I need Switzerland Pro.

 

2. Does anyone know where I can get Flylogic's scenery for Lugano? I am pretty sure they made a FS9 version but I can't find one.

I have a "3 Small Airports" package from Flylogic and if I recall correctly it asks on install if you use Switz Pro - but it was an impulse buy and I was unimpressed and consigned it to the hangar.

Thanks guys, but I decided not to get either scenery. Im not getting Sion because it would look better with Switzerland Pro and I don't have that. Maybe sometime down the road I will get it but not now. And Lungano just dosen't look very good.

It sure doesn't. Remember it was made a long time ago for FS2002 and (adopted) FS2004!

And Switzerland Pro is very expensive, so you should either have a lot of spare money or really fly in this small (but beautiful) country a lot (rather VFR).

I have Switzerland Pro and all the Flylogic airport/airfield addons available for Switzerland as I like flying there. I would agree Switzerland Pro is expensive and you really have to be prepared to do a lot of VFR flying in this beautiful country to justify buying it. It is also a relatively old product and although IMO it still is really good, it is not quite up to the standard of what can be achieved these days by a producer like France VFR for example. I do however think it is an excellent enhancement for Switzerland with no effect on FPS and I enjoy what it brings to FS9. With regard to the Flylogic airport scenery, the older products are not of the standard that we have come to expect of airport addons today although their more recent offerings have improved somewhat. I am just sorry that they now seemed to have completely stopped producing work for FS9.
