Yet another special characteristic of FLIGHT...

Featured Replies

Plugginless, FLIGHT IS PLUGGINLESS or better said PLUGGIN-FREE...

The word pluggin sounds in Portuguese pretty much like the portuguese word for flea, so, I hate to have to use pluggins to overcome some stuppid simulator limitations/bugs, sometimes precisely related to those features I really expect to find acceptably modelled on a flightsim. Today, while rumbling accross a few other community forums here at AVSIM I found a few posts dealing with pluggins to overcome this or that...

Not realy needing such a thing in FLIGHT is a blessing!!!!!

Thanks for the "plug". Lol :)

I believe you were referring to my post. It is very frustrating to me, and I am really happy with Flight on so many levels, this just being one of them.

dont you just love a worldless and plugless game

Considering that I do all my flying in a smaller area in FSX in my low and slow C172, my answer to you is yes.

I wouldn't call it special. Plug-ins can help certain players customise their game, especially when the plug-ins themselves have an easy-to-use interface - though having too many plug-ins can be annoying. Plus, when you have competition from more than one company (instead of just Microsoft being the only company), it motivates companies to bring out better quality plug-ins that will greatly enhance your experience.

Hello

Here are a few plugins it could really use just now, all beginning with A

ATC

Ai

Autopilot

Altimeter settings

Well, I guess that services are not exactly plug-ins, but when running Flight I always also had three different services related to GFWL running. Most annoying was always having two of those services running even when Flight wasn't. I uninstalled Flight just to get rid of the offending services.
