June 10, 201213 yr Todays aerocahce is on the NW side of Oahu, NOT the NE side. Should be easy to find, just fly the ridgeline.
June 10, 201213 yr Yep, I missed it before, but today I finally found it - not really difficult to find :-) I know better Hawaii archipelag then I know our beautiful portuguese Azores and Madeira islands now :-)... a shame!!! Until flying the Hawaiian Islands with Flight, I never realized just how big those islands really are. There's no place like this place, so this must be the place.
June 10, 201213 yr :LMAO: So true! Until flying the Hawaiian Islands with Flight, I never realized just how big those islands really are. I had been lobbying forever for a developer: Aerosoft, Orbx, anybody to do Hawaii. I have loved the place since my first Hawaii scenery for fsx, and even a quick search shows that there are multiple photo-scenery's from several sources and they all seem to be popular. Yet nobody does a Hawaii scenery....... :cray: I was ecstatic with the release of the Hawaii airports by Fsdreamteam, and purchased every single one. I always saw Hawaii as a great scenery spot, and had no clue why there seemed to be so little big developer interest. I am very happy to see it finally in flight, even as I dream of how beautifully Orbx would/could have done it. For FSX users whose interest is piqued, the Megascenery version of Hawaii still stands out, even after all this time. (pic of me having a quick flight) We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. June 11, 201213 yr There's another aerochace where that's happened too. Can't remember the name of it. On a Hawaiian island, it's probably not the end of the world since the distances are short. Mixing up NW and NE in Alaska could be more problematic. Mike Dryden
June 12, 201213 yr Todays aerocahce is on the NW side of Oahu, NOT the NE side ...and the search term for the aerocache du jour presented after 03:00, Tuesday, 12 June GMT should read "John A. Burns Freeway, H-3". Does anybody also remember the reciprocal bearing VOR aerocaches of a few weeks ago ? Honest mistakes or navigational challenges, I don't know...
June 12, 201213 yr When I did that one the "trees-in-the-air" glitch showed up. Kinda strange flying under the trees. There's no place like this place, so this must be the place.
