June 12, 201213 yr Finally had the time necessary to get down to business and purchase the RA Lancair Legacy. And yes, there is nothing like the feeling of trying out a much anticipated add-on. And this one does not disappoint, far from it. I will stick to pics for this thread, leaving the flight notes for the FSX forum later. Flight plan called for a scenic VFR flight from 77S (Hobby Field) to the east to fly near the Three Sisters and then back to the home field. Thanks to: ORBX, RealAir, AS 2012, REX Essential and RXP for making this first flight memorable! June 12, 201213 yr Author I have the Orbx Lanc, i'm just wondering how they compare. :Applause: Adam Many have posted about it already, but they are actually two very different aircraft in real life. I also have the ORBX Lancair. If you are strickly looking at the value and excellence of the sim product, the RealAir is in a league of his own. I have been virtual flying since 1990, and am scared of thinking just how many add-on's I bought. But since last night, the RA Legacy is right up there with a VERY limited few products in my "hall of fame". June 12, 201213 yr Wonderful shots! Very well done! A fantastic aircraft over beatufilul scenery. That's why I really love GA flying in FSX!
June 12, 201213 yr Wonderful aircraft, love everything about it. All it needs now is a paint kit. (hint, hint. ) The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
June 12, 201213 yr Author Thanks my friends. I had not posted screenies in awhile, so it's nice to be back at it. Must admit one thing. For the 1st time ever, I actually wish I could do fs videos instead. They would do better justice than screenies, since you can just "feel" the aircraft so much.
