June 27, 201213 yr Personally, I'd love an E120! The J41 is too rare for me to be interested, and I imagine many others feel the same way. The J41 may be rare, but the 120 isnt far behind. I cant remember the last time I saw one.....2004 maybe? (and I am on the road every two weeks) The J41 is a fantastic addon. By far the best regional turboprop for FSX bar none. To limit yourself because its rare in the real world these days seems like biting your nose off to spite your face! From PMDG perspective, doing a 120 or a Saab 340 would not make much sense with the J41 already done, I can appreciate that. June 27, 201213 yr Well, to be honest, I'd love to see a CRJ or Embraer E-190/195 from PMDG in the future, I really hope that is what Rob ment on the convention in Munich. There are not that many airliners today and only a few that PMDG could get acces to (777 and 747 excluded). Let's stay realistic, it'll be something that flies in the US. Bombardier is based in Canada, therefore it wouldn't be a very "big trip" for PMDG to get the neccesary data. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
June 27, 201213 yr You know what, i know a guy who was at that convention in Munich and he pretends that he asked Rob regarding future projects. He said that we might see a MD-10. PMDG could easily get acces to one - FedEx With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.

June 27, 201213 yr You mean a DC-10? MD-10 doesn't exist. An MD-10 is a DC-10 that has been 'upgraded'. It features a cockpit extremely close to the MD-11. FedEx operates them It's not the best explanation, but you get the idea. :) Lee Sent using Tapatalk
June 27, 201213 yr They actually call it an MD-10 when filing a flightplan? Huh, never heard of that! *edit* Had a look on flightaware. As far as I can see, they still refer to them as DC-10's. MD-10 may be some internal company reference. AJ Pongress
June 27, 201213 yr this is what I meant to say lol The MD-10 is retrofit cockpit upgrade to the DC-10 and a re-designation to MD-10. The upgrade included an Advanced Common Flightdeck (ACF) used on the MD-11.[32] The new cockpit eliminated the need for the flight engineer position and allowed common type rating with the MD-11. This allows companies such as FedEx Express, which operate both the MD-10 and MD-11, to have a common pilot pool for both aircraft. The MD-10 conversion now falls under the Boeing Converted Freighter program where Boeing's international affiliate companies perform the conversions.[33] lee

The FCOM say's MD10 so I would say it's an official name for the Aircraft. http://www.boeing.com/commercial/aeromagazine/aero_02/textonly/ps02txt.html Regards Rob Prest
