June 17, 201213 yr Dear PMDG team, It would be possible to let me know when I can make my order for the Captain and Chief Pilot for the 777 manual sets. Thanks and greetings, Stefan

June 19, 201213 yr If they are not too expensive I might get them as I got the 737 one again :) Of course there is the pdf in the product, but it just doest not feel the same, even if you print that's no way near the quality of the manuals that are sold here. Le'ts wait & see once they are up for sales that sure makes a nice addition and though it did not get into much details about it yet, I guess it'll be something close to what was done for the 737 with complete official manuals :) Aurelien Vandoorine

In terms of format the 777 FCOM, etc are exactly the same as the 737NG manuals. Sebastian Pramanick
June 27, 201213 yr I think reading pdf on iPad is much better than reading the printed one. All airlines are trying to replace "papers" from the cockpit. David Chen
October 5, 201213 yr I love my 737NG manuals! Having said that, it's disappointing that theQRH is so much more expensive for the T7 then it was for the NGX. In fact it's 60% more on a page by page basis. I understand some markup, but 60%, that;s too rich for my blood!
October 5, 201213 yr Commercial Member Epic thread revival. I can't look while I'm here at the office, but I'm guessing it's more expensive based on the number of pages. That's how printers do it: pages and ink. More pages, or color ink drives a higher price. Make sure to sign your name to your posts, as is required by the forum rules. Kyle Rodgers
October 5, 201213 yr I shall be using the .pdf's from my EFB. Then they are to hand whenever I need them. October 6, 201213 yr I was musing over this topic on the tutorials thread. My son prefers a PDF file he can follow when running the flight in Flight Sim, what are other peoples opinions? A video is all very well but being able to run through a PDF at your own pace is, in my opinion, preferable. I am considering putting together a basic setup, FMC programming and cold start sequence for a short flight from EGLL to EHAM. Would anyone find this of use in PDF format? I've taken a couple of photos from the office (some are a little blurry, apologies for that, it's my camera, I will try and take clearer ones when I next go to work!) and I would use these to illustrate the panel setup and the FMC setup. If anyone is interested I will put them together. Also if anyone can tell me how to embed the picture from Flickr or upload to the site I'd appreciate it, the copied URL doesn't show! It tells me I'm not allowed to use the image extension! Edit: Helps if I read the FAQ! The images were too large (even if a little wobbly!) GregL :-)
