According to the sticky up top, the P3D v4 conversion is complete and released. However, when you check the PMDG website to purchase the 777-300ER expansion, it still shows it is not available for P3D v4. That it is only compatible for v2.4 - v3.x. I imagine this is just an error on the webpage and shopping cart, but I wanted to double check before making a purchase on a wrong version. Thanks.

Do we know what the most current Nvidia driver version is that still works well with the MD-11?

If you'll send me a PM with your email address, I can send you the text file that I use to copy the data for NZIR into the FMC navdata folder. I also added the ZIR VOR that is present in FSX, and the NZPG and NZWD airports for reference purposes.

I know this has been brought up in the past, but what is the latest status of being able to purchase the 777 manuals through the PMDG website? They have not been available for quiet some time now. Is there any kind of update on when they will be available again or are they not coming back at all? Thanks.

I think that is fantastic that PMDG's rep carries that much clout. I'd love to hear about your comparisions between the real life motion simulator vs the NGX after your session is over.

Thanks for the infomation! One of the things I love about flying the Concorde is the only glass guage in the cockpit is the TCAS guage. While I love the modern airliners, there is something to be said about going back to the classics. It forces you to keep in practice with base fundamentals of navigation and flying instead of relying completly on the FMC. Thanks for all the hard work y'all do! It is much appreciated!!What a great way to "kill" some down time!

I would have to echo what most everyone here has already said – Thank you very much Robert for sharing the information that you are privy to and your thoughts regarding the situation!To me, it was overall a very sad post to read information wise. Having been involved in flight simming since FS95, it is truly disheartening to see what has become (platform wise) of a program and the effect it has on the community that spans the globe that uses it. This is a program that has been in existence far longer than almost anything else out there. I mean our community predates XBOX, Play Stations, or almost any of the other platforms out there. While I can understand the need for MS to target what they feel is an important demographic (the XBOX users), I find it a little hard to believe they are apparently abandoning a niche they almost completely represent. Whereas there are already several “arcade style” flight games or games with flight portions in them, there really isn’t any other flight simulation options. While we have new platform options that have been coming to market over the last few years, in some ways MS had better potential simply due to the maturity of the franchise. I was truly hoping that FLIGHT would enhance FSX to a multicore capability, take advantage of modern computer hardware and operating systems (64-bit anyone?), and allow an updatable navigation database. Sadly this doesn’t appear to be coming to pass. It is unfortunate that MS doesn’t seem to recognize that add on developers like PMDG go a very long ways in help keeping their program/franchise alive and well. Instead of supporting them, and thus supporting themselves in the long run, they feel the need to try and take a part of their financial pie. It is because of the fantastic add-ons that PMDG and a few others produce that I remain interested and continually coming back for the next generation of flight sim platform. Now that MS appears to be headed in the arcade path, I will have to take my business somewhere else when an appropriate simulation platform comes along that my favorite add-on developers start producing for. I would just like to say thanks again for all the fantastic work y’all do at PMDG and the professionalism you seem to always project in everything you do. Myself, like many others, will be following you and your products wherever you go. In the meantime, I’ll continue to enjoy all of the PMDG aircraft in my hanger and try to patiently wait for the 777!Thanks again!

Yeah, I printed my own copies for the MD-11X and the 744X. It does add up - to say nothing of the wear and tear on your own equipment. That is why I was looking into purchasing this go around. You have to love the quality of the PMDG manuals!

Okay, thanks for the information guys. I was just about to buy the NGX and was looking at getting the captain's set of manuals with it. I'll take a look once I have the PDFs and then make a decision.

I'd like to breathe some new life into this one. From what I can find from the searches this has been brought up twice, but no one has answered yet. Has anyone gotton the color upgrade on the QRH? If they have, is it worth getting?

For those of use that fly at high flight levels, FL500 - FL600, are there any issues with the correct tempratures being simulated? I know some of the older programs (especially FSX) have some serious issues with this. These tempratures can have a serious affect on Concordes and the like. Thanks.
