Massive NGX Issues (VC/PFD/Mouse Function)

Featured Replies

Ok first of all, I am having the same issues as this guy in this forum:

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?249821-PMDG-737NG-VC-problem

Basically in the VC, everything is black, pfds etc, I am unable to control anything via my mouse i.e click on objects, I have also calibrated my yoke/quadrant but, only the throttle works but is not reflected via movement in the pedestal. Flaps fail to work also. Basically its a cold and dark set up but with movement, everything else is dead?

Hi! Sounds pretty nasty, I'd try a reinstall and making sure you've got the latest service pack installed and you run everything (fsx, ngx, etc..) as Administrator in windows.

If this doesn't work send a ticket to PMDG, their technical support is awesome, a matter of hours usually.

Hope it helps, Matteo MED1473

Do you have a screen grab of the problem?

Heres my issues:

1) Everything cold and dark

2)Mouse cursor cant control anything whatsoever

3)Sky visible in overhead panel

Tired reinstalling loads of times, running as administrator, I think my pmdg737.dll file might be corrupted?

Is this the first time you received this error after having the plane for sometime, or is it the first time you flew the aircraft and had this problem?

Try reinstalling the files, and also have you made sure you have correctly activated the NGX and have provided the required information?

This looks like a gauge issue brought about by faulty activation.

For the fastest help just open a support ticket and they will get you all fixed up, rather than wasting a bunch of time monkeying around with it.

got it sorted, some of the gauge files were missing, nothing a quick system restore didnt fix though as I had it installed prior with no issues, but thought I would wipe it as I had so much other software on fsx.

Did you reinstall the entire NGX. I've had the same problem you've reported after installing the United 737-800wl paint.
