July 8, 201213 yr I think [Plans] is essential, yes. This did the trick! OMG it works! I just did a flight from Bethel PABE to King Salmon PAKN. I planned a route which led me gently through the valleys of the Kuskokwim Mountains (I guess). Just great! Me and my passengers had an impressive view and as we landed just minutes before the sun went down at this beautiful autumn evening, I got my 'happy passengers' award! (Well, I don't blame the flight planning for this, but who knows... B) ) Thanks again!
