July 6, 201213 yr Hi guys, I am posting today because i'd like to tell you that i've been accepted to a good flight college in Canada, got my visa and I'm all set to go: to be honest i'm very very happy, because thats a project i've been working on for years now. Anyway i'm about to leave Europe ( Probably early next week)and guess what ??? Its gonna be a 777-300 ER !!!! Ouiiiiii Monsieur !!! So far i've flown on an A300B4, A310, A300-600, A330, DC10, CRJ, and 737's. So i'm very excited !!! Also because this bird is in production at PMDG. And for my second leg i'll fly with Westjet !!!! YEAH on a 737 NG you've guessed it ! My plan is to record as much thing as possible: Suggestions are welcome of course..... I'll probably ask for a small visit in the cockpit (request won't probably be granted but who knows) and at the end i'll post the video here so that you'll all enjoy those moments ! (on both the 777 and the NG). Kaman BAPMDG 737 NGX Flight Preparation using EFB, TOPCAT, FSBUILD & AS2012 Leaving the dream ! MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE: LIFE OF A STUDENT PILOT !

July 6, 201213 yr Good for you!! I wish you good luck with that! ^_^ You can actually ask the flight attendant during boarding if you can take some pictures of the cockpit, if all goes well you end up in a nice discussion with the captain and a flight on the jumpseat! Are you flying with Air Canada? With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
July 6, 201213 yr Author yes sir ! thx ... by the way! yeah i'll probably try that approach....hahaha Kaman BAPMDG 737 NGX Flight Preparation using EFB, TOPCAT, FSBUILD & AS2012 Leaving the dream ! MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE: LIFE OF A STUDENT PILOT !
July 6, 201213 yr Nice one! 77W's are epic to fly on, I'll never forget my first GE90-115 engine start. Always something special! Good luck! What licenses are you going for? I'm doing my Private at the moment in Orange County, CA then of to CAE Oxford Aviation next year for a lovely 5/6 Months of Ground School! Actually, thinking about it I'll be there this time next year! Then the fun parts ;) Flight Deck visits are generally granted after Landing. One thing I'll say, keep your respect for the guys in the Flight Deck, some are arsey, some are real cool. I normally only stay for a short amount of time as normally by the time you get in there they're ready to leave so bare that in mind. I found Short Haul you get much longer and less tired Pilots ha. When I arrived on stand at EGLL from FRA the Capt gave me a tour of the 319 flight deck. Also on the way out the Capt & F/O were extremely welcoming (even if we did keep the buss waiting!) I went in ANZ's 77W flight deck and all I could say was wow.. very jealous of my friends flying them! - Luke Pabari
July 6, 201213 yr Author Thx Luke ! KSNA huh ? so must be seeing a lot of SWA 737's. Moncton is quite the same thing because you have Westjet, Jazz etc.... flying in and out on a regular basis. Actually its a 2 year program (called aviation technology): should lead me up to the professional pilot status (i.e. CPL, multi-engine etc....)And then i'll probably go for the instructor rating .... But first things first: the 777 experience ! lol . Wish you good luck as well. One thing I'll say, keep your respect for the guys in the Flight Deck, some are arsey, some are real cool 100% Agree ! July 6, 201213 yr A couple of days ago I was standing at the treshhold of runway 07L at EDDF (Frankfurt) as an ANA 777-300ER flew over my head, I could do a short video, enjoy. B) That thing is huge!!! And after it touched down and vacated the runway you could hear the wake torbulence, which it produced. I also took a shot of this UNITED T7 with PW engines With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.

I've been out for 11 weeks as I visited home (London) so today was my first one back. We just went over the basics of the maneuvers which I'm pleased to say I achieved! This included Stalls PWR ON/OFF, some hood flying, MCA & a little bit of GRM over El Toro. Back to the pattern next week, just Spin Training to be done prior to my first solo. Probably have done that by the end of summer! Here's a couple of photos I took on our descent (thank god for Trim!) - Luke Pabari
July 7, 201213 yr Author WOW, Very impressive pics: the view is magnifiscient ! My turn in a couple of weeks :P . Hood flying.... Hope i won't throw up ! Kaman BAPMDG 737 NGX Flight Preparation using EFB, TOPCAT, FSBUILD & AS2012 Leaving the dream ! MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE: LIFE OF A STUDENT PILOT !
July 7, 201213 yr WOW, Very impressive pics: the view is magnifiscient ! My turn in a couple of weeks :P . Hood flying.... Hope i won't throw up ! I'm not one for rollercoasters nor going over those bridges that are awkward and make your stomach drop. But I LOVE stalls, seriously, they're so fun! I find MCA (Slow Flight) really cool too. Hood flying is using your instruments, I aced it as I love flying on Instruments personally. You shouldn't get sick by it. However, my stomach didn't like Unusual Attitudes, that one I had to just get through and make the best out of it. I've got to do Spin Recovery Training yet so I'm interested to see how I'll cope. You either love or hate aerobatics! I don't think I'll find myself loving it ha. The view is definitely better than the UK! - Luke Pabari
July 7, 201213 yr Congrats and good luck with everything in the future! @Luke, I'm the same not much of a roller coaster guy, but enjoyed all the manoeuvres you experience in flight. When I did my PPL in southwest Florida I enjoyed slow flying along the coast, some amazing views definitely better than in the UK lol Alaister Kay

Are you planning on going back to Europe after you're done or are you staying in Canada? There is an art . . . to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss
July 9, 201213 yr MFC's a good outfit. You'll really enjoy it there! Town can get a bit quiet at times but you'll be having fun. Congrats! Patrick Houghton
