Well we're making progress! I just tried it and immediately got a license check, It's an automatic process by just pressing OK. It then proceeded to load the weather ok, except at the end it said the time and date of the files was wrong,

Thanks

HiFi support centre says:

We are experiencing technical problems with our multiple weather servers at the moment. Our team is working on the problem and hope to have services restored very soon. Updates will be posted here.

Update: Server issues have been corrected. Weather data updates are commencing and should be active/valid within the next 10 minutes.

Update: All services have been restored and weather data has been updated.

AS6.5 seems to only be updating 2 or 3 times a day. mine gets stuck with the data at 1553Z, then around 0100Z it finally is able to update to that one. not sure if it happens again after that as im usually sleeping by then.

been happening for atleast a couple of weeks or months now.

its almost to the point where i dont even want to start activesky anymore while flying online, especially if theirs ATC online because its guaranteed to be different data. updating to Evo isnt an option at the moment, broke

I already made a comment about the issue but I am amazed at the international contribution of this thread and wanted to make a scorecard for my own amusement - This list only reflects the users that stated where they are from or if the country is in the user signature. I guess the root of my amazement was that within a few hours of the issue, users all over the globe were posting here.

Another world catastrophe has been averted & the good name of Hi Fi Simulations remains intact despite the naysayers predicting no further support for ActiveSky, 'poor customer support' & that the servers had been down for 2 days (in another thread).

I'd say we have received a pretty effective & quick piece of customer support...the issue was sorted within 24hrs of occurrence.

Anyway...life can now go back to normality again.
