Trying to identify this Aerocache ?

Featured Replies

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated !

My aero count is 147 because I was lucky enough to have gotten an extra aero or two on the days when 2 new aeros were available. (April 18th & May 11th)

I have been able to identify all except the first one from May 11th.

These are pics of both that day. The 1st one (on the left) is LAHILAHI POINT on the west coast of Maui. The 2nd is on the south coast of Molokai and the annual boat race from Molokai to Oahu starts there. I would really like to know the name of this aero ??

My list of 95 daily aeros would then be complete. (95+53=148........minus curvature of the earth = 147)

Thanks. Fred.

I can't help you out, but I have a related question of my own. At the risk of sounding like an idiot...when a daily aerocache is expired, and unfound, does it still exist in my game world? I know I can't find it in my list of aerocaches, but just wondering if it might still be out there somewhere....

Originally, they were gone for good. Then MS started repeating them when they ran out of new Daily ACs. Then they all appeared in-game at once one weekend, though with no tips info for them all.

I don't know if they are all still active, though. They may have fixed that.

Daily aero's usually last 24 hours and are then replaced with a new one. If you miss one, you cannot get it again unless MS repeat it.

Every daily aero since June 5th has been a repeat !

The aerocache in question is "Lahilahi Point". I'm not sure of the date it came out as my list is not completely accurate due to all the gyrations MS has gone through with aerocaches.

Thank you.

LAHILAHI POINT was the second aero that day........May 11th. (it is the first pic on the left of my post)

I am looking for the name of the 1st aero that day ?......the pic on the right.

Hi Folks

Fred -

Possibly it was named Molokai Triangle.

I make it 100 for total AotD, (possibly 101).

EDIT -

I'm on 147 of 152 total aerocaches .

I've identified at least 2 AotDs,

plus the "Curvature of the Earth",

which I haven't collected yet.

Then they all appeared in-game at once one weekend

Ray -

It was only a small selection, (approx 6),

that were unlocked for the same start date.

They were all subsequently AotDs over the following days.

Thanks Paul. Molokai Triangle makes sense as the little harbor is shaped like a triangle and is in Molokai.

( If anyone wants the updated daily aero list, I will gladly post it.)

According to this site, the one on the right is Lahilahi Point. The one on the left might be one that was in beta and not released. Don't know for sure though.

Thank you.
