July 14, 201213 yr I'm having an odd issue with my left toe brake. I can assign the bindings properly in setup, so I know that the software is seeing the correct axis. The right toe brake works as it should. The left does nothing. The rudder control works fine (left and right). I have tried all of the combinations of axis/invert-axis settings I could to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions about how to fix? Thanks!!

July 14, 201213 yr Author My CH pedals work as intended. Have you tried them under FSX to see if the left side hardware is working? Brian Thanks for the reply! Yes. They work in FSX. Flight also sees the axis and registers it properly when setting up the controls. For whatever reason, the left toe brake doesn't work in game. Weird problem...

For whatever reason, the left toe brake doesn't work in game. Weird problem... Look down at the pedals in the VC, to see if they are moving when you apply the brakes. It's probably easiest to see in the RV-6. Does the left brake work with the Z keyboard command? How about putting the left brake on the right toe, and the right brake on the left toe, to see if the problem swaps sides. If it swaps, it's a Flight issue for sure.
July 14, 201213 yr They work fine for me. Make sure you don't have the left brake assigned in some other controller in your system and, of course, if you do, disable it. John Wingold

Yes, I had this problem initially, and had to spend some time figuring out what was going on... I use the CH Combatstick, CH Throttle Quadrant, and CH Pro Pedals... there were multiple conflicts that weren't expected and had to be tweaked... one current issue I still have is axis 6 of the throttle quadrant still doubles as the rudder axis, can't figure out how to disable that... but so long as I leave it at half way point, my rudder pedals works great. On a side note it is a rather handy rudder trim ha But yes, as others have said, the CH pedals work just fine for me as well in both rudder and right/left brakes Allen, flight sim lover and AA-5 Traveler owner
July 16, 201213 yr I once had a brake problem with mine. I ended up opening them up and found a wire that had come loose or broken. After fixing that, they work fine now. Mitch Was born on the Northcoast, where they coined the phrase that they still call Rock-n-Roll! Mitch Collins
July 17, 201213 yr Author Thank you all for the replies and suggestions! I haven't had any time to get to Flight for the last couple of days, but next time I do, I'll try checking for other conflicting assignments (I also use the CH Flight Sim yoke) and switching left and right assignments.
