Correct. But that is not what the OP was talking about. He is acting as if MS is building the Cub VC right now.

 

 

 

And this is you making an unfair characterization. Accepting it for what it is to help fund it's growth is the only way it will ever have that extra detail and features that we want, also.

 

You have a choice of either helping that, or getting out of the way. Endless complaints and rants about those who are using Flight will not accomplish much.

I started out just like Dillion, jumping on the Flight bandwagon, promoting it and enjoying what was released mostly because i was under the impression it was going to be the successor to FSX, which it is clearly not at this point or ever will be. So based off MS comments and actions and based off how many in this forum are content with what they do have, I am to the point of ejoying and accepting it for what it is, but that doesn't mean I don't find it lacking in so many areas and desperatly want them to add these features and I was trying to get Dillion to see this also

 

I also disagree that being completely accepting of Flight will help it grow to become more than it is if there is no plan for it to be that and no one speaks out..

I did not mean to suggest that being completely accepting of Flight is a good thing. I'm certainly not, and have been quite vocal about what I feel are needed improvements.

 

But I do see a lot of potential in it and am voting with my dollars to indicate how I want it to develop, buying only the DLC that leans more to the simulation side of things.

 

Those who refuse to buy any of it are choosing not to let their voices be heard in the most important way a business listens... sales.

 

I see little point in even taking the time to post in the forum for a product if I've already decided to dismiss it.

 

I also get rather irritated when the extremists on either side try to paint the moderate majority as extremists on the opposite side from them... which sure does happen a lot. I've often been called a "fanboi" and then a "hater" in the very next thread.

 

A lot of people, on both extremes, need to realize that somebody not completely agreeing with you does not mean they take a polar opposite opinion.

Who are you disagreeing with? Nobody is saying that. Plenty of people are speaking out. Even the mods (mod?) on this part of the site is very open speaking out about what he dislikes about the sim. Where on earth do you get the impression noone is speaking out?

MS said they would release one plane a month and one region every 3 months. So far they have done so. So what's the problem? The fact that most of those planes weren't what we were hoping for does not mean they didn't do what they promised to do. So... no need to get hysterical about it and start using words like 'horrendous', 'terrible' and 'failure'. The OP is too soon with his post. He may post the same again if the Cub isn't released within a week or two. Until then everything is going according to plan and there is no need for all this. Enjoy what you have right now or play another game.
